Project / Jamaica Eats

A second shipped system.

Jamaica Eats proves repeatable execution in a different product context. It is the same standard applied to a distinct brand, interface, and content problem.

Technical philosophy

Build the menu and content model so the site can be updated without redesigning the whole thing. The product should feel polished while staying easy to operate.

Problem it solved

Jamaica Eats needed a storefront that could change fast without becoming a maintenance burden. The problem was operational: how to keep the brand visible and the content flexible at the same time.

Unique capability set

  • Brand-forward presentation for a food product
  • Reusable content structure for menu and promo updates
  • Static delivery pattern with a clean deployment surface
  • Easy swap of promotional assets and product emphasis

Method in practice

I treated the site like a repairable system: separate the visual shell from the content changes, so the store can move quickly without breaking the structure underneath.

Developer tour

Open on the brand first: the page should sell the product before the user reads a paragraph.
Keep the content system lightweight enough that new menu items or promos can be swapped quickly.
Treat the site like a storefront and an operations tool at the same time.
